Against the backdrop of the increase in the incidence of Covid-19 cases in the Republic of Moldova, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova wishes to remind all citizens of the importance of maintaining vigilance and respecting protective measures, especially in the context of tourist activities and related services. In this regard, we bring to your attention the standard SM CWA 5643-1:2021 “Tourism and related services. Requirements and guidelines to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the tourism industry”, which provides essential recommendations for preventing and limiting the spread of the virus.

It is imperative that each of us contribute to the common effort to protect public health. We urge you to strictly follow safety measures, including wearing masks in closed spaces, maintaining physical distance and rigorous hand hygiene. We also encourage you to opt for travel services that adhere to established safety standards, thus ensuring that you and your loved ones are protected.
