The Institute of Standardization from Moldova (ISM) initiates a campaign to promote modern renewable energy conversion systems, on the grounds that renewable energy represents the energy future of the planet, and the adoption and promotion of these technologies in the Republic of Moldova would bring many benefits both for the country, as well as for the environment.

At the same time, the development of these technologies contributes to ensuring the energy independence of the Republic of Moldova, offering, implicitly, an important support in increasing the standard of living of the citizens. Our country is highly dependent on energy imports, and this brings with it economic and energy security risks.

By promoting renewable energy, Moldova could reduce its dependence on fossil fuel imports, electricity and have a more sustainable and reliable energy source in the long term.
