The Republic of Moldova has the potential to develop its own geothermal technologies

Moldova’s potential in the field of geothermal technologies was highlighted at the “Investor Connect” event, organized by the National Center for Sustainable Energy, where representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova were present.

The discussions emphasized the importance of geothermal energy in combating global warming, highlighting that Moldova has the capacity to develop its own geothermal technologies to contribute to a sustainable future.

At that event, experts from Iceland, together with specialists and academics in the field of renewable energy from Moldova, presented the key aspects for the development of an efficient geothermal system. At the same time, the participants had the opportunity to learn and share knowledge, contributing to the promotion of sustainable solutions in the context of climate change.
