ISM urges companies to participate in the “Trademark of the Year” and “Award for Achievements in the Field of Product and Service Quality” contests

The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated, as a partner, in the launch of the contests “Trademark of the Year” and “Award for Achievements in the Field of Quality of Products and Services” for the year 2023, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic Moldova. ISM representatives emphasized the importance of increasing the competitiveness of the national economy through the implementation of standards, noting that this improves services and product quality on the domestic market and opens export opportunities.

Thus, standards play an essential role in ensuring the quality of products and services, having a significant impact in the field of quality. They guarantee the uniformity, compatibility and safety of products and services, protecting the interests of consumers, stimulating competitiveness and facilitating access to international markets. International standards enable companies to access foreign markets by ensuring compliance with international requirements and specifications, thereby facilitating international trade and promoting trust between countries and regions.

In this context, ISM urges local producers and economic agents to actively participate in this competition and to make constant efforts to improve the quality of the products and services offered.
