Company standards (SF) are documents developed and approved by economic entities to solve organizational problems or related to products and services.

These standards may include technical requirements, product characteristics, packaging and labeling conditions, quality control methods and others. They are necessary when there are no national standards or technical regulations applicable to a particular product.

The advantages of SF include facilitating the production process and placing on the market of specific products, ensuring compliance with quality requirements. Stakeholders in the development of an SF include economic entities at the start of the business, those that wish to expand their product range and those that manufacture specific traditional products.
