The head of the Institute for Standardization Moldova (ISM), Andrian Bunduc, signed, on 04/30/2024, a Memorandum of Understanding for the anti-bribery certification of the Competition Council, the implementation of the ISO 37001 standard to begin this month, with the support of the USAID MISRA Program. In this way, ISM signed the second collaboration agreement with a state institution with control functions from the Republic of Moldova.

In this context, Andrian Bunduc, head of the Institute for Standardization Moldova, emphasized the importance of the standard, highlighting its role in strengthening institutional integrity and promoting a competitive and fair business environment.

On the same subject, the president of the Competition Council, Alexei Gherțescu, emphasized the need to implement the standard to strengthen the credibility of the Council.

The implementation of this standard will help to detect and fight corruption within state structures, pointed out David Anderson, director of the USAID MISRA program.
