The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) and the National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Moldova (MOLDAC) signed a strategic collaboration agreement. The document was signed by Andrian BUNDUC, Interim Director of ISM, and Iurie FRIPTULEAC, Director of MOLDAC, thus marking an important step in strengthening relations between the two institutions.

The main objective of the agreement is to achieve closer cooperation and a more efficient exchange of information in order to develop the National Accreditation and Conformity Assessment System, as well as the National Standardization System. This will be done in accordance with European and international practices, thus ensuring alignment with the highest global standards.

In accordance with the provisions of the Collaboration Agreement, periodic meetings will be organized at the management level of the authorities and subordinate structures. These meetings will aim to create mixed working groups, jointly organize seminars, workshops and trainings, as well as plan and organize joint actions. Among these actions is the promotion of standardization and accreditation activities through the development of information spots, brochures and other materials of common interest.

The agreement will constitute an effective collaboration tool, contributing to the development and intensification of relations between ISM and MOLDAC on multiple levels. This will facilitate the achievement of common objectives, essential for the progress of the national standardization and accreditation system.
