Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) took part online in the opening of the ISO annual meeting, the event bringing together experts from around the world to explore the challenges and opportunities brought by new technologies, including artificial intelligence and diversity in the professional environment.

The event included sessions on trusting AI, revolutionizing the patient experience through technology, as well as female entrepreneurship and diversity in the workplace, etc. Current topics such as sustainable energy transition and the circular economy were also addressed, demonstrating the essential role of ISO standards in supporting climate resilience and worker protection.

An important moment of the meeting was the online launch of the ISO/UNDP guidelines, dedicated to contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, underlining the global commitment to sustainable development.

The active participation of ISM in this meeting reaffirms the involvement of the Republic of Moldova in promoting and implementing international standards that support innovation and sustainability, contributing to improving the quality of life and strengthening confidence in emerging technological solutions.
