Dear Civil Aviation Workers,

On the occasion of Civil Aviation Worker’s Day, celebrated on September 19, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova expresses its deep appreciation for the tireless efforts and special contribution to the development and modernization of aviation in the Republic of Moldova. Starting with the first flight from Chisinau, in 1944, and until today, civil aviation has become an essential pillar in connecting our country with the rest of the world.

The implementation of international standards, such as SM EN 16495:2019, which regulates information security in air traffic management, plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient airspace. Thanks to these measures, the Republic of Moldova aligns itself with global best practices, providing quality services to passengers and ensuring a safe environment for all those involved in civil aviation operations.

Today we celebrate not only the tradition, but also the future of Moldovan aviation, which, by complying with these standards, will continue to develop harmoniously and meet the challenges of the modern world.

Congratulations and many achievements!
