Today, November 26, we mark World Sustainable Transport Day, a United Nations initiative aimed at drawing attention to the importance of the transition to a transport system that promotes efficiency, safety and environmental protection.
Sustainable transport does not only mean reducing the impact on the environment, but also adopting innovative technological solutions that meet the social and economic needs of present and future generations. In this process, international standards play an essential role, providing a solid basis for the implementation of safe, efficient and environmentally friendly practices.
The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) actively contributes to this goal, with our commitment to sustainable transport in the Republic of Moldova being an essential part of our country’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular those related to climate action (SDG 13) and sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11).
Together, let’s contribute to a greener and safer future!
