From February 10-14, 2025, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) is conducting a series of trainings dedicated to the requirements of the ISO 17024 standard, within the TAIEX expert mission “Consultancy for the implementation of the requirements of the ISO 17024:2012 standard within the Personnel Certification Body of the ISM”.

This initiative aims to prepare the Personnel Certification Body of the ISM for obtaining accreditation according to ISO 17024, thus strengthening its capacity to provide assessment, certification and training services at the highest international standards.

The topics addressed during the training include:

– Development of internal procedures in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 requirements, to ensure efficient management of certification activities;

– Training of personnel involved in the certification process, to guarantee impartiality, transparency and competence;

– Establishing mechanisms for monitoring and continuous improvement, maintaining accreditation status and permanent compliance with the requirements of the standard;

– Aligning certification schemes with international best practices, increasing recognition at regional and global levels.
