The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) hosted a study visit of second-year students of the Center of Excellence in Energy and Electronics. This initiative aimed to familiarize young people with the ISM’s work and the importance of standardization in the energy and electronics field.

During the visit, the students learned about the role of standards in ensuring the quality and safety of electrical equipment, energy efficiency and alignment with international requirements. ISM representatives presented the main standards applicable in the energy sector, as well as how they contribute to the development of a sustainable and efficient infrastructure.

The visit took place in an interactive setting, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions to ISM specialists and to understand the importance of applying standards in their future professional activities.
