The Institute for Standardization of Moldova – part of the international dialogue on building energy efficiency

Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) took part in the international event “Capacity Building – Energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in buildings”, recently held in Chișinău.

Organized by the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform with support from national authorities, the event brought together experts from several countries to identify solutions to challenges related to energy efficiency and the integration of renewable energy sources in the construction sector.

ISM’s participation highlighted the importance of European standards in the building renovation process and in supporting the energy transition. During the working sessions, current barriers were analyzed and concrete measures were outlined to accelerate reforms in the field.
