The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) reminds that all national, European, and international standards adopted in the Republic of Moldova are protected by copyright under current legislation.

Standards are not free normative acts, but technical documents developed through collective efforts. They are essential for ensuring the quality and safety of products and services. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of standards constitutes a violation of copyright and may result in legal liability.

ISM is the only institution authorized to legally distribute standards in the Republic of Moldova. Interested organizations and individuals can purchase them through the online store at www.standard.md or directly from the Institute’s office.
