Moldovan vegetable exports are growing thanks to standards

The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its presence in international markets: Israel has approved the import of fresh cucumbers and dried onion bulbs from our country.

This decision follows the confirmation of a favorable phytosanitary status and compliance with the strictest quality and food safety requirements. The standards applied by producers and authorities were key to this success, ensuring product traceability and conformity.

The Institute for Standardization of Moldova encourages farmers to seize this opportunity and demonstrate on the Israeli market that Moldovan vegetables can successfully compete at the highest international level.
