ISM Participates in the Eastern Partnership Standardisation Forum 2025

On 2 September 2025, representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) took part in the Eastern Partnership Standardisation Forum 2025, held under the theme “Establishing a ‘Good Practice’ Standards Board or Council”. Organized by PTB (Germany), the event was held online and brought together national standards bodies from Eastern Partnership countries, along with international experts from ISO, PKN (Poland), and ASRO (Romania).

The forum aimed to exchange best practices on setting up and strengthening governance boards within national standards bodies. ISM presented its current governance structure and contributed to discussions on the strategic, financial, and regulatory roles of such boards.

ISM’s participation reaffirms its commitment to aligning Moldova’s national standardization system with European and international standards, supporting economic development and the country’s European integration.
