The visit of the ISO representative to ISM opens new prospects for cooperation

The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) hosted the visit of Mr. Nikita Taranko Akosta, representative of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The main purpose of the meeting was to gain a better understanding of ISM’s priorities and current challenges, to discuss the relaunch of the New Rights program, as well as to identify ways in which ISO can support the Institute’s activities.

The visit also contributed to strengthening ties between the two institutions and fostering closer mutual understanding between their teams.

The Institute for Standardization of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of standardization at the national level and to actively contributing to ISO initiatives, thereby consolidating the role of the Republic of Moldova within the international standardization network.
