A delegation of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM), led by the Director of the institution, Ana Ghețivu, is paying a working visit to Bucharest, to the headquarters of the Romanian Standards Association (ASRO), with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging experience in the field of standardization.

The meeting agenda focused on the evolution of ISM–ASRO relations, the exchange of best practices, the coordination and operation of technical committees, the participation of experts in CEN/CENELEC structures, professional training, involvement in European projects, as well as engaging stakeholders and SMEs in the standardization process.

The visit program included presentations on the activities of the two national standardization bodies, applied discussions on working methods in standardization, and thematic sessions dedicated to the functioning of technical committees and participation in European initiatives.

The meeting reconfirmed the interest of both parties in developing sustainable cooperation and deepening professional dialogue in support of alignment with European best practices in the field of standardization.
