The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) today hosted a study visit of a group of students from the Moldova State University (USM), specializing in Technology of Cosmetic and Medicinal Products and Industrial Chemical Technology, as part of the institution’s efforts to promote standardization within the educational environment.
The visit was organized at the initiative of ISM and is part of the institution’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with the academic community and to familiarize young specialists with the essential role of standards in fields such as cosmetic production, medicinal technologies, and industrial chemical processes.
The event aimed to consolidate the students’ theoretical knowledge and to introduce them to the mechanisms of developing, adopting, and implementing standards, including those applicable to the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors. At the same time, the visit offered young participants the opportunity to better understand the impact of standardization on the quality, safety, and competitiveness of products and services in these areas.
