Employees of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated in a training session on the prevention of and protection against discrimination, delivered by representatives of the Equality Council, Gheorghina Drumea and Carolina Bagrin.

The training aimed to strengthen knowledge on equal opportunities, diversity, and respect for fundamental rights. Participants were introduced to the concept of discrimination and its main forms: direct discrimination, indirect discrimination, discrimination by association, harassment, victimization, and incitement to discrimination.

At the same time, protected criteria were presented, along with mechanisms for reporting discrimination cases, including the Petitioner’s Guide.

The Institute for Standardization of Moldova continuously invests in the development of internal competencies, transforming theoretical training into practical solutions. This approach strengthens an organizational culture defined by mutual respect and high ethical standards.
