From July to November 2026, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) will benefit from support for the development of an artificial intelligence-based solution for standards translation under the project “Support to the National Standardization Institution of Moldova in the Development of an AI-based Solution for the Translation of Standards”.

The project aims to strengthen ISM’s institutional capacities in the field of standards translation by leveraging advanced language technologies and the experience of international partners.

Through this initiative, ISM seeks to improve the efficiency of standards translation processes, enhance accessibility to standards, and facilitate their use in the Republic of Moldova.

The implementation of innovative artificial intelligence-based solutions will contribute to the digitalization and modernization of standardization activities.

The project will be implemented with the support of partners from the Latvian national standardization body and the language technology company Tilde, who will provide expertise in the implementation of modern solutions for translation processes.
