The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) has launched an information campaign on the “Students – The Future of Standardization” programme, dedicated to students from higher
education institutions across the Republic of Moldova.
This week, ISM representatives are visiting several faculties at universities across the country, offering students the opportunity to discover the world of standards and understand their
importance for their future careers.
Today, the first information sessions took place at the Faculty of Food Technology and the Faculty of Design of the Technical University of Moldova. Approximately 90 students from the
two faculties learned about the role of standards in various fields of activity and the opportunities to participate in the programme launched by ISM.
The “Students – The Future of Standardization” programme includes two main activities
dedicated to young people:
The “Standards That Shape My Profession” Competition – an essay and scientific paper competition encouraging students to explore the connection between standards and
their field of study or future profession;
“Adventure into the World of Standardization” – an interactive experience organized at the ISM premises, offering students the opportunity to discover, in a practical and
engaging way, how standardization works and why standards are important in everyday life and professional activities.
Through this programme, ISM aims to bring the younger generation closer to the field of standardization, stimulate interest in research and professional engagement, and contribute to the
development of future specialists who will play a role in the advancement of the economy and society.
The information campaign will continue throughout this week. Faculties interested in hosting an information session are invited to contact the Institute for Standardization of Moldova.
