The Institute of Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated in the “PRO-
INDUSTRY Dialogue: Catalyst for the Industrial Future of the Republic of
Moldova”, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic
of Moldova.
The event brought together representatives of public authorities, the business
community, research, universities and quality infrastructure institutions to discuss
the competitiveness and prospects of the national industry.
During the panel “Innovation, Quality and Competitiveness: Prerequisites for the
Integration of Industrial Products into European Union Markets”, an ISM
representative contributed to discussions on standardization, conformity
assessment and quality infrastructure as key elements in bringing Moldova’s
industry closer to European practices.
Through its participation in such platforms, ISM contributes to strengthening the
dialogue between standardization and industry and promoting the use of European
and international standards in support of the Republic of Moldova’s economy.
