On 15 October 2026, the Institute of Standardization of Moldova (ISM) welcomed
20 students to the interactive activity “Adventure into the World of
Standardization”, organized as part of the “Students – The Future of
Standardization” campaign.
Throughout the activity, participants explored the world of standardization through
games, challenges and practical exercises, working in teams to test their
knowledge, creativity and communication skills. From quizzes and association
games to discovering the structure of a standard and completing a quest at ISM
headquarters, each activity helped them better understand the role of standards in
everyday life and their future professions.
The activity emphasized teamwork and critical thinking, demonstrating that
standardization is not just about technical documents, but also about shared
solutions that contribute to quality, safety and progress.
The winning team attended the event dedicated to World Standards Day, held on 16
October 2026, while all 20 participants received certificates of participation from
ISM.
Through the “Students – The Future of Standardization” initiative, ISM aims to
bring young people closer to standardization and show them that standards play an
important role, regardless of the career path they choose.
Today’s students are the professionals who will contribute to developing
tomorrow’s standards.
