On 23 October 2026, a representative of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated in the International Scientific Conference “Modern
Paradigms in the Development of the National and Global Economy”, organized by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Moldova State University.

As part of Section “Research and Innovation for Sustainability Reporting and Business Resilience”, the ISM representative delivered a presentation entitled
“Sustainability Reporting and Business Resilience”, addressing the importance of this topic in the context of current economic developments.

Sustainability reporting is an important tool for increasing organizational transparency, assessing the impact of economic activities and strengthening
stakeholder trust. In this context, standards contribute to promoting consistent approaches and supporting organizations in integrating sustainability principles
into their management and development processes.

ISM’s participation in such events helps strengthen dialogue between academia, public institutions and the business community, while promoting the role of
standardization in supporting the competitiveness and resilience of the Republic of Moldova’s economy.
