Internationalizing the business is one of the main goals of Small and Medium Enterprises. In this regard, on May 5, the Institute of Standardization of Moldova (ISM), in collaboration with the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector (ODIMM) held the event entitled “Support in the implementation of export standards”.

During the event, the representatives of SMEs were informed about the advantages of using European and international standards for the internationalization of the business in the light of the following topics addressed by ISM lecturers:

  • Standardization. General aspects in standardization. The stages of implementing a standard;
  • Quality management system and its benefits for SMEs;
  • The benefits of implementing the food safety management system SM EN ISO 22000: 2018.

The event took place online, using the Zoom platform.
