The management of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova participated on Wednesday, September 21, in the meeting regarding the implementation of the project to support the sector of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), which will be launched this October by the World Bank, for the period 2022-2027, through the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova.

The objective of the project is to reduce the burden of the regulatory framework, improve access to financing and assess gaps, as well as modernize and strengthen the capacities of institutions in the field of quality infrastructure. At the same time, the digitization of processes is one of the basic tools used to ensure fast and efficient access to the services offered by institutions in the field of quality infrastructure.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Vadim Gumene, representatives of the National Metrology Institute, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova, the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection and the National Accreditation Center were present at the event.
