The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) organized, on 25.10.2022, the working session dedicated to the implementation of Eurocodes in the Republic of Moldova. Designers from the field of construction participated in the meeting, the purpose of the meeting being to strengthen the capacities of institutions in the country involved in the process of design, production of construction materials and engineering.

The implementation of Eurocodes contributes to the harmonization of the services market in the construction sector, encourages and facilitates the marketing and use of materials, structural components and kits, by establishing a common design framework. At the same time, the Eurocodes will serve as a unique basis for research and development in the field of civil engineering, etc.

At the end of the seminar, future collaborations regarding the development of the field related to the application of Eurocodes in the Republic of Moldova were established.
