The representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated in the discussion panel organized by the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA) with the generic “Increasing the competitiveness of SMEs from the Republic of Moldova on foreign markets”, within the exhibition ANTREPRENOR EXPO.

During the event, the trends, opportunities and challenges for companies from the Republic of Moldova in preparing for export in the post-pandemic context and the regional security crisis through the prism of standardization were addressed.

In this context, ISM presented the following subjects for joint analysis by the participants in the Panel’s work:

– The support tools for increasing the competitiveness of SMEs and facilitating exit abroad;

– The rules of the game in international export;

– The importance of correct labeling of products;

– Implementation of standards for accessing foreign markets;

– Protection of intellectual property abroad.
