The Director of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova, Stelian Manic, participated today in the launch of the “Trademark of the Year” and “Award for Quality Achievements” contests, an event held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

On the sidelines of the event, where the results of the “Made in Moldova” National Exhibition were also presented, Stelian Manic reiterated the fact that when our companies try to reach another level or, even more so, go abroad with their product , it is imperative that their activity be carried out on the basis of certain standards.

“We really want our local companies to realize as soon as possible that, if they want to advance, they will not succeed without adapting standards and starting to produce based on them. This desired must become a unanimously accepted rule on our way to the European Union”, said Stelian Manic.

In the same context, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sergiu Harea, mentioned the aspects of holding these contests, highlighting the European modernization efforts of the actors of the national economy.

At the same time, Sergiu Harea pointed out that the Moldovan Standardization Institute is the partner of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in promoting and supporting companies that implement quality management standards.
