The responsible authorities have determined that, on average, 80 % of products called ‘Cheese pies’ made on the market do not contain fresh cow’s cheese, but a mixture of products based on vegetable fats.

In this context, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova informs the public opinion that cottage cheese pies, like other food products, must be prepared according to certain standards, in order to offer consumers a guarantee of the safety of food products.
