The Director of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova Stelian Manic received the visit of a delegation led by Dr. Marc Siegel, President and CEO of M Siegel Associates LLC and Director of Global Security and Resilience Projects, International Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University (SDSU).

During the meeting, the parties addressed topics dedicated to standards on quality management systems, mentioning the importance of applying international and European practices in the field of standardization.

At the same time, the importance of standards in the creation of viable and competitive economies, as well as in the creation of civilized and mutually beneficial trade relations with other countries, was mentioned, the Standardization Institute of Moldova representing the only national standardization body recognized throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
