The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) has the mission of contributing to increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, ensuring sustainable growth and the well-being of the population, as well as the sustainable use of resources.

To achieve this goal, for 10 years ISM has made available European and international standards, adopted as Moldovan standards.

A modern, dynamic and high-performing national standardization body, the Institute for Standardization of Moldova continues to undertake the mission of, by providing access to standards, supporting the continuous efforts of users in their implementation and thus contributing to the success and modernization of the economy national.
