The Institute for Standardization of Moldova participated in a workshop of the Project “Quality standards for the growth of trade in the countries of the Eastern Partnership” of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt – PTB (National Metrology Institute of Germany).

The nominated project supports the development of quality infrastructure services for selected value chains in the region. In the Republic of Moldova, project partners have selected the value chain for LED modules. During the event, the quality requirements of LED modules and other relevant aspects in the field were identified.

Also, the project participants visited the Moldovan Standardization Institute, being familiar with the operating principles of the online store https://shop.standard.md/, with the services offered, etc.

The workshop was hosted by the National Institute of Metrology and the Association of Electronic Industry Companies of Moldova (ACEM).
