The Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) participated in a regional meeting in Albania called “EU4Business: Support for regional economic integration”.

The event took place between 06 – 07 June 2023 and was organized by the “German International Cooperation Agency” (GIZ), under contract with the European Commission and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), for the implementation of the Project ” EU4Business: Support for regional economic integration”.

The aim of this project was to strengthen regional economic integration between CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement) parties by supporting the implementation of a common regional action plan in the field of quality infrastructure and e-commerce.

The quality infrastructure component of the project aimed to support the CEFTA parties in strengthening the essential aspects of their quality infrastructure systems in line with EU standards.

The project also aimed to promote the free movement of industrial goods, ensure fair competition and consumer protection through an improved market surveillance system.
