On November 8-11, 2021, the delegation of the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) made a trip to the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). The parties exchanged experience in order to take over good practices in standardization activities and related activities.

The following topics were addressed during the technical visit:

  • the tools used to promote the implementation of European standards at national level;
  • providing stakeholder training services and consulting in the implementation of standards;
  • managing the secretariats of international and European standardization technical committees.

Following the discussions in the working meetings, it was agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between TSE and ISM in order to intensify the collaboration relations to improve the institutional capacities of both standardization bodies.
